The B2B/2GO Platform enables organizers of professional events (the “Organizers”) to publish a promotional and networking page of their events of the Platform and to facilitate networking between participants (the “Participants”) to their events.
As a Participant, the Platform allows you to create and manage your profile and connect with participants of an event to which you choose to participate as well as to facilitate networking with them (the “Services”), via your B2B/2GO account (the “B2B/2GO Account”).
Basis for Data Processing
In order to enable you to use the Platform and the Services, we must collect and process personal data about you. Our processing of personal data is mainly based on the following principles:
- We must process some personal data in order to be able to provide you with the Services and to allow you to use the Platform.
- We may process certain personal data because you have given specific consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time and we will stop personal data processing that is based on your consent.
- We process certain personal data when necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests, those of our users and partners, when the processing does not violate users’ fundamental rights.
Data We Collect
Data Collected from You or a third-party
We store all collected information described above in accordance with this privacy policy.
Some collected personal data may not fall under the definition of personal data and may not be subject to all obligations contained herein or set forth by applicable laws and regulations.
We collect personal data you voluntarily share with us either through the Platform interface and its functionalities (for example by filling out a form) or otherwise. We may also receive data from third parties (mostly Organizers) in which case such third parties confirm that they disclose your personal data with your consent.

- Country, province or state of residence;
- Professional status;
- Institution/Organization for which you are working and your role;
- Any document you upload to the Platform;
- Information you communicate to us through the Platform, by email or by telephone;
Data Collected Automatically
We collect data automatically when you use the Platform. This data is saved each time you interact with the Platform and includes data about your computer or mobile device and data about your interactions with the Platform, in particular:
- The IP address from which your mobile device or computer accesses the Platform;
- The country, state/province, city, and zip code where your computer or mobile device is located.
- The operating system and identification number of your computer or mobile device;
- Your Web browser settings;
- The make and model of your computer or mobile device;
- The pages you visited, items viewed, clickstream data and dates related.
Data From Analysis Tools
When you access the Platform, we collect data provided by analytics tools such as Google Analytics. This data may include, for example, sex, age, interests, but it is not associated with you personally and is provided to us in aggregated form.
Data From Social Networks
We collect information from sites or social networking applications (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, etc.) when you interact with profiles belonging to us, namely when you complete your B2B/2GO Account with one of your social media accounts. These sites or applications are also governed by their own policies regarding your personal data which may be different from ours and may be applicable.
Data Collected through Cookies
We use cookies to improve the performance of the Platform and your experience. Cookies are small files saved on your computer or mobile device by the Platform’s server or third-party servers which allow your computer or mobile device to be recognized and content to be personalized. Some cookies will be automatically erased when you shut down your browser (session cookies) whereas others are stored indefinitely (permanent cookies). Unless you voluntarily provided us with information about yourself, cookies are not associated with your identity. Automatically collected information could, however, be associated with your identity if you provide such information. You may disable the logging of some or all cookies on your computer, but that could result in your inability to use some Platform features.
How We Use Collected Data
We process personal data collected through the Platform for the purposes described below. Some processing is subject to your specific consent, while other processing is necessary to provide you with services or is based on the pursuit of legitimate interests:
- To put you in touch with other Participants;
- Contact you about our Services;
- Send automated emails to confirm email addresses or our receipt of a request from you;
- Process your transactions;
- Respond to your inquiries about our Services;
- Perform analysis about our customers;
- Personalise your experience of the Platform, including by storing your preferences;
We use the data collected automatically, on an anonymous basis, in order to, inter alia:
- Monitor Platform traffic;
- Improve Platform performance, including by assessing which pages or features are most seen or used by visitors; and/or
- Perform analysis about traffic to the Platform.
How do we Store and Protect your Data
We keep collected personal data until concerned individuals request that it be deleted, until such time where it is not required by our activities. However, except as required by applicable laws and regulations, we do not commit to keep any data for a determined length of time.
Collected personal data is stored in electronic format on servers located in Canada.
Personal data collected about individuals located outside of Canada is transferred to Canada. Canada is recognized as an appropriate jurisdiction for the transfer of personal data from the European Union.
Your personal data is hosted by our hosting provider, Micrologic, which agrees to use industry-standard security measures to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of data.
We may process personal data from our own servers and equipment. We implement security measures that are proportional to the sensitivity of the data processed. Our employees and service providers are aware that the personal data collected through the Platform is confidential and are informed about the appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal data.
Disclosure of Personal Data
We only share your personal data as described in this policy or when we have your consent. Your personal data may be disclosed to the categories of recipients described below for the purposes mentioned.
Employees
Collected personal data is only available to our officers and employees who must access it for the purposes described in this policy.
Participants & Organizers
We share some personal data with the Participants and the Organizers service providers that enable us to render our Services.
When you have given your consent, we may share personal data about you with the Organizers so that they may offer you products and services directly, based on your use of the Application
Service Providers
We share some personal data with service providers that enable us to render our Services more efficiently. These providers agree in writing to keep personal data confidential and to limit their use of personal data to what is necessary to provide their services.
Legal Obligations
We may also disclose personal data to third parties if the law expressly authorizes or requires such disclosure, or if we are ordered to do so by a competent authority. We may disclose personal data in the context of court proceedings if necessary to protect our rights or those of our users.
Sale of Business
In the event that the sale or restructuring of all or part of our business is envisioned, we may disclose collected personal data to the persons or organizations involved before and after the transaction, whether or not it takes place. The Platform includes features that allow you to share content through social networking platforms. If you share content that includes personal data, that information may become publicly available based on the settings you selected.
Rights Concerning your Personal Data
Access to Your Data
You may have access to some personal data that you have personally provided to us by accessing your account through the Platform.
To access the personal data that we hold about you or to rectify personal data that is incorrect, you may make a request in writing to the following address: privacy@b2b-2go.com or to the address of the data controller at the beginning of this policy.
We will respond to your request promptly (within 30 days of receipt), allowing you to access your personal date that is under our control. When required by law, we will provide your data in a portable machine-readable format.
Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw your consent to the collection and processing of some personal data.
If you wish to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data beyond what the Platform, your computer or your mobile device allows, please notify us in writing at privacy@b2b-2go.com. It is not possible to stop all processing of your personal data and continue using the Platform. The only way to stop all processing of your personal data is to stop using the Platform.
Objection
In certain circumstances, depending on your place of residence, you may have the right to object to the processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interests. You may object to the processing of your data in writing at privacy@b2b-2go.com.
Erasure
You may request the erasure of personal data that we hold about you in writing at privacy@b2b-2go.com. We will respond to your request as soon as possible (within 30 days of receipt).
If you continue to use the Platform after your personal data has been erased, we will continue collect certain data about you.
Note that some personal data is provided by Organizers which may process such data independently from us. You must contact the Organizers directly about their processing of your personal data.
Complaints
If you reside in the European Union, you have the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of your personal data with a supervisory authority responsible for the protection of privacy. The competent authority may vary depending on your country of residence.
If you reside outside of the European Union, this policy shall be governed by the laws applicable in Canada and the Canadian authorities shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any complaint or proceedings.
Verification
We reserve the right to verify the identity of individuals requesting access to personal data. Any information collected to perform this verification will not be used for any other purpose.
Junk Mail
We abide by the laws and regulations governing unwanted electronic communications. If you no longer wish to receive electronic communications from B2B/2GO, you may so advise us at any time in writing at the following address: privacy@b2b-2go.com.
We will continue to have the right to contact you about your requests for information or in connection with the handling of your personal data.

Welcome to the B2B/2GO platform! (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”) operated by Gestion B2B-2GO Inc. (hereinafter “B2B/2GO” or “we”).
In order to use the Platform, you must abide by certain rules and terms which are set forth in these Terms of Use, which form a binding contract between the visitor or user using the Platform (hereinafter “you” or the “user”) and B2B/2GO.
By using the Platform, you accept to be bound by these Terms of Use. You may prefer not to be bound by these Terms of Use, in which case you must immediately stop using the Platform.
Use of the Platform
The B2B/2GO Platform enables organizers of professional events (the “Organizers”) to publish a promotional and networking page of their events of the Platform and to facilitate networking between participants (the “Participants”) to their events.
As a Participant, the Platform allows you to create, organize and manage your profile and connect with participants of an event to which you choose to participate as well as to facilitate networking with them (collectively, the “Services”) via your B2B/2GO account (the “B2B/2GO Account”). The purpose of these Terms of Use is to establish the terms and conditions for the provision of the Services as well as your use of the Platform as a Participant.
These Terms of Use do not apply to Organizers, whose terms and conditions of use of the Platform and B2B/2GO services are provided for in another document.
Access to the Platform
You may use the Platform through theses Web browsers:

- Chrome
- Safari
- Firefox
- Edge
You must activate your B2B/2GO Account to access and use certain features of the Platform, such as connect with other Participants and organize meetings with them.
Creation of the B2B/2GO Account
You can register your B2B/2GO Account using an email address and creating a password.
Activation of the B2B/2GO Account
In the event that the Organizer has provided us with your email address, obtained by the latter with your consent and in compliance with the obligations that bind it to us, we will send you an email containing the instructions for activating your B2B/2GO Account. A personnalised link will be sent to you and you will be asked to create a password. If you chose to link your B2B/2GO Account with your account on a third-party social network, such as LinkedIn, you will then be able to complete your profile with the information available on this third-party social network.
You must provide accurate, current and complete information during the creation or activation process of your B2B/2GO Account, as the case may be, and keep the information contained therein up-to-date at all times.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your B2B/2GO Account credentials and may not disclose your credentials to anyone. You must immediately notify us if you know or have any reason to suspect that your credentials have been lost, stolen or otherwise compromised or in case of any actual or suspected unauthorized use of your B2B/2GO Account. You are liable for any and all activities conducted through your B2B/2GO Account.
Access and use of the Platform by automated means, such as bots or crawlers, is strictly prohibited, except as provided in a written agreement between you and B2B/2GO.
We make no warranty as to the constant availability of the Platform, in whole or in part, and we reserve the right to interrupt access to the Platform for the general public or for one or several users, for any period of time, at our sole discretion.
Our Content
All content available on the Platform, including text, images, drawings, video sequences, audio content, source code and logos is either our exclusive property or is used under appropriate license or permission from the owners, holders or licensees of the applicable rights.
You may not modify, copy, distribute, run, transmit, transfer, display, provide, reproduce, publish, grant any license or sub-license in or sell any interest in any content available on the Platform, nor any content obtained through the use of the Platform, except as required for personal use of the Platform for the purpose set forth in these Terms of Use and in accordance with same.
You are authorized to share some Platform content on social media platforms, only through sharing features available on the Platform.
We are the exclusive owner of the following trademarks and domain names: B2B/2GO and www.B2B-2GO.com. All other trademarks displayed on the Platform are used under appropriate license and no provision herein shall be interpreted as to concede or grant you or any other person any right whatsoever in said trademarks and domain names.
Personal Data
We collect personal data through the Platform. To use the Platform, you must consent to the collection, processing and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By accepting these Terms of Use, you declare that you have read our Privacy Policy and that you give us your consent.
Under certain circumstances, the collection and processing of personal data is subject to your specific consent, which may be withdrawn at any time, as provided in our policy.
Accuracy of Content
We strive to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information possible on the Platform. However, we cannot guarantee that the content of the Platform will at all times be accurate, complete and up-to-date.
Information pertaining to the Services offered through the Platform is accurate to the best of our knowledge, but we make no warranty as to the accuracy or exactitude of such information.
User-generated content
Some features of the Platform allow you to post content on the Platform that can be rendered accessible to visitors, the public or other Participants via the Platform (the “User Content”). You are fully responsible for any User Content you post on the Platform and must make sure that you have all necessary authorizations to publish such content. You represent and warrant to B2B/2GO that you are authorized to share your User Content in accordance with selected sharing options and to grant us the license described below. You further warrant that your User Content does not infringe on the rights of third parties, including intellectual property rights.
By posting User Content on the Platform, you retain all proprietary rights in and to your User Content, but you grant B2B/2GO a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable and non-exclusive license to use, modify, adapt, translate and broadcast by telecommunication or otherwise any User Content only to the extent necessary to exploit the Platform and provide the Services. You hereby waive and irrevocably undertake to waive, in our favor and in favor of our successors and assigns, all moral rights you may hold with respect to User Content when used in the context of the above-mentioned license.
We reserve the right to delete from the Platform any User Content posted in violation of these Terms of Use or if deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion. However, we do not systematically approve User Content before it is posted and will not be responsible for User Content. Be advised that by using the Platform, you may be exposed to inappropriate or illegal content.
Visitors’ Suggestions
Where you chose to contact us about improvements to the Platform or to the Services offered through the Platform (such communications being hereinafter designated as “Suggestions”), you authorize us to use the Suggestions without restrictions. You hereby assign in our favour all rights, title or interests in and to the Suggestions, irrevocably waive all moral rights you may hold with respect to the Suggestions and undertake to provide the assistance we may seek in order to document, develop and retain our rights, title or interest in and to the Suggestions. You warrant that your Suggestions contain no information that is confidential or proprietary to third parties. You acknowledge that (i) we have no expressed or implied obligation of confidentiality with respect to your Suggestions; (ii) we are authorized to use or disclose (or choose not to use or disclose) your Suggestions for any purpose whatsoever, in any way whatsoever, on any medium whatsoever, anywhere in the world; (iii) we may already have considered or be in the process of developing elements identical or similar to those mentioned in your Suggestions; and (iv) you will not be compensated in any way with regards to our use of the your Suggestions.
Forbidden Use
You may not use the Platform to an illegal end or in any way prohibited by these Terms of Use. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you are prohibited from making any use or allowing any third-party use of the Platform, which would:
(i) violate these Terms of Use; (ii) be illegal, infringing, harmful, threatening, tortuous, defamatory, slanderous, offensive, obscene, invasive of the privacy of a third party, hateful, fraudulent or malicious; (iii) harass or advocate the harassment of another person; (iv) involve the transmission of junk mail or unwanted mass emails (spam); (v) involve the propagation of any malicious computer code, virus, Trojan horse, worm, harmful code, shut-down mechanism or similar code; (vi) promote illegal activities or conduct; (vii) solicit passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users; (viii) interfere with or disrupt in any way the operation of the website or any server or network involved with the operation of the website; (ix) collect or “harvest” the names of other users; or (x) violate any local, national or otherwise applicable law or regulation.

The Platform may contain hyperlinks to other sites owned and operated by third parties (“Third-Party Sites”). We have no control over Third-Party Sites and disclaim all liability as to the content provided on such sites. Hyperlinks are provided as a courtesy to facilitate browsing and shall not be construed as an endorsement or approval by B2B/2GO of any Third-Party Site or any content it may render available.
Terms and policies applicable to third-party websites and web pages related to B2B/2GO, namely for the creation of your B2B/2GO Account via third-party social networking services and our Facebook and Linked pages, for example may be different from these Terms of Use and in some case could be under the control of third parties. You should review any such terms or policies before visiting or using related websites or web pages.
Disclaimer of Warranty
Although we strive to provide you with the best service possible and make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on the Platform is accurate and reliable, your use of the Platform and the Services provided through the Platform are provided “as is” and “as available” and their use is entirely at you discretion and at your own risk.
To the full extent permitted under applicable law, the Platform and the Services are provided without any warranty. We disclaim any express or implied warranty, including any warranty related to the quality, reliability and veracity of the information available on the Platform and the results obtained by using the Platform and the Services.
We use all commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that the Platform and the data transiting through the Platform are secure. However, we cannot warrant that the Platform will always be free of security threats. By using the Platform or the Services, you accept the risks associated with the use of online services. Limitation of Liability
Except where prohibited by law of public order, under no circumstances will B2B/2GO as well as its affiliates, directors, employees and officers be liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or of any kind whatsoever, including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profits arising out of the use or performance of the Platform, the inability to use the Platform or the Services , whether such liability is based on a contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, even if we have been made aware of the possibility of damages. If you are dissatisfied with any section of the Platform, or any portion of these terms and conditions, your sole and exclusive remedy is to stop using the Platform and its Services.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless B2B/2GO, its affiliates, directors, officers, shareholders, employees, mandataries and licensors with regards to any claim, loss, damage, responsibility, fees and penalty, including reasonable legal fees and disbursements, arising from (i) your access or connection to the Platform, (ii) your use of the Platform or the Services offered thereby, (iii) any use by B2B/2GO of your User Content, or (iv) any alleged violation of these Terms of Use on your part.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use and any related operations shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein and shall be interpreted in accordance with these laws.
Any dispute, controversy or claim arising from these Terms of Use or from your use of the Platform and the Services provided thereby shall be adjudicated by a competent court of the Province of Quebec, sitting in the judicial district of Montreal, thereby excluding any other forum in any jurisdiction.
Severability
If a provision of these terms of use is, for any reason, found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, such invalidity, illegality or impossibility of performance will not impact the other provisions hereof, and these terms of use will be interpreted as if the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision had never been a part of them.
Changes to Terms of Use
We may modify these Terms of Use at any time by making the modified terms of use available on the Platform.
If you provided us with your email address, we will notify you of any material changes to our Terms of Use by email in a reasonable delay prior to the coming into force of the new policy.
